  2. Hey Davie, loving the content mate. However I'm wondering how you're managing a 72 hour limit on discount codes, as far as I can tell they're generic and can't be locked after a period of time. Particularly within Shopify. I understand the urgency play, but is there a risk for misleading consumers?

  6. Thanks Davie for a lot of this valuable information. I did notice however with most of the email marketing strategies a lot of these scenarios are for more well-developed businesses that have developed a Niche to their market they address the solutions they provide for the market. How would an E-Commerce site with relatively little traffic integrate such methods? The reason why I ask is that most businesses typically don't like to spend monthly Fees for email software when they have no email lists to work with and an opt-in might do it however from my previous experiences a lot of people don't opt-in unless the person has to place an email in the checkout.

  7. Love this, but I feel there are better ways to get signups than discounts, that not only benefit the product more but also increase signup. I could be wrong, but for me personally I would rather sign up to something like an article that gives me some sort of value. For the lemon scrub, could be "7 Habits To Have A Cleaner Home". The viewer gets value and you can make the article really dive deeper into the uses of the scrub, it can go hand and hand and naturally make people trust the product and brand more. The issue with discounts and cold traffic is they do not trust your business, they have never seen it. And a discount is not really value unless the person decides to buy, but the decision to buy for many people is a decision that requires a ton of trust. Many will just overlook a discount unless it virtually allows them to in a way test the product (getting it for a HUGE discount), but then again a huge discount could devalue your brand as it then gives the impression that the product is not even worth the full price. An article has no commitment other than time and if it is valuable then they will take the time. Not to mention the SEO benefits of having articles. Thoughts?

I wondered what happens, if the customer who Just entered the Sign up Form and emidietly Uses the Code without accepting the 2-opt-in (sec confirmation email), he would probably still get the welcome series, even if He already purchased.. is there a way to Prevent that Issue?
