Step 1: Create your Quora Ads account.
For that, you need to have a regular account at Quora.
Just sign up here: quora.com
It’s a basic Q&A website, where we’ll be making such ads so they look exactly like they’re part of the content of Quora.
Once your basic account has done, go to quora.com/ads
Simply fill the form to create your Quora ad account – enter the name of the account, category, etc.
After verifying your email, you’re good to go for Quora Ads Tutorial!
Step 2: How to create Quora ads for affiliate marketing?
Click on “Create Campaign” and follow the steps to fill in the blank to create your Quora ads campaign for affiliate marketing.
For the campaign, you need to select the objective first, start with “Traffic” if you’re just a beginner in affiliate marketing. Also, set the budget here.
At the ad group level, set your targeting. Here you can target everyone (broad), target your audiences, and target a specific topic based on Keywords/Topics/Questions Quora users have been asking.
After that, at the ad level create your ads including images and text.
As a beginner, just start with Text Ad for Quora Ads campaign.
Step 3: How to set up conversion tracking
It’s a must-have step, that you set up pixel tracking so that you can optimize your ads to check what works and what doesn’t.
Just click on the pixels tab and create a new pixel.
Either use Google tag Manager, else select the manual option and add the code to every page of your website/funnel/landing page.
Add the advanced matching code if you want to capture more information about converted users.
Clicking the “Next” button will give you the event code to the page you want to track.
Add the “Lead” event code to your thank you page, if you want to track how many people filled opt-in form at your landing page.
Make sure that the Quora Ads code has been added successfully.
You need to add base code to all pages of your website and event code to the specific page you want to track.
Hit preview mode to confirm that the code has been successfully added.
Step 4: How to create your audiences
After the pixel add-on, you can create your remarketing audience.
Select the website visitors option and create audiences based on certain URLs – For example, people who visited your landing page, or your thank you page, etc.
With Quora Ads, you can also create lookalike audiences just like Facebook by importing contact lists. Lookalike audiences are people most similar in characteristics to those people who signed up or purchased earlier.
Step 5: How to create a lead generation campaign
Quora love these campaigns because it helps people to spend more time on Quora.
So if you create an opt-in form, Quora users will see that form upon clicking on your ad, users will fill their details at Quora only.
After creating the form, create a new campaign after selecting “Lead Gen” as your campaign objective.
