  3. Just submitted my CV and waiting for the phone call/email. Hopefully I could use this tactics! It’s extremely nervous since I’m an immigrant in the UK not having perfect English. But I will do my best!! 🤞

  4. Yeahhh, my Mom gave the job people my phone number for an interview without my knowledge. I'm panicking and writing a cheat sheet for the phone interview-

  5. This will sound silly, and I’m wrong about a lot of stuff, but when asked, “Tell me about.. x, y, z” I’ve always replied, “What would you like to know?” Clarification works wonders in my experience when someone gives me a command as vague as “Tell me about yourself.” It’s an uno reverse card that’s never failed me that gives the other person the illusion of control while constraining them to come up with a solution to my question.

  6. – Give a snapshot of your work history, including the company you worked for, your title, how long you were in the position, and your major responsibilities
    – Describe one major accomplishment you achieved in each role
    – Acknowledge the employer's needs for the position they are hiring for
    – Tell the employer why you are the right fit for the job

  7. Hi Linda , I love your videos and I've learned a lot from you so thank you for that. Just a comment on the '' tell me about yourself answer'' You mentioned to include a snapshot of every role in the answer and I'm finding it repeating what I already have on my CV. If I had many roles in my career it will be too much information and the answer will just take too long before moving to the section of being the right fit etc… for those who have long career history isn't it better to wrap things up and make a summary without giving a snapshot of each role? It is challenging to make a summary though.
